The Duty Free Warehouse EMBRACH/Zurich

The duty free warehouse (ZFL) is a transit storage zone and is used for the duty free storage of goods. When purchasing and storing in ZFL you get Silver, Platinum and Palladium without the corresponding VAT for the stored goods.

This is how the duty free warehouse works

1.		Order: Fill out the Order Form, the Application for a Collective Deposit and the Form for the Determination of the Beneficial Owner with a copy of your passport, and fax or email these to us. The Form for Determination of the Beneficial Owner only needs to be filled out if the order is above the equivalent of CHF 25,000 or EUR 15,000. > see right Duty free warehouse downloads
2.		Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation by email, including the contract with our prices.
3.		Money transfer: Funds must be transferred within 3 working days to our bank account
4.		Receipt of funds: After receipt of funds and all originally, signed documents by mail, you will receive a depot statement from pro aurum Switzerland.

Sale to pro aurum in the duty free warehouse
When selling your holdings to pro aurum at the actual market rates, no VAT will be due.

Delivery out of the duty free warehouse

a)		Collecting the holdings yourself
	1.	You forward the form ‘Request for Physical Delivery’ per fax or email.
	2.	We organize a date and time with you. We hand over the holdings in the office of pro aurum in Kilchberg. Please note that there will be a VAT charge. Basis for the calculation of the value of the goods is the market price at the time the goods were removed from the duty free warehouse, which can differ from the market price on the day you pick up the goods. If we export the goods for you, we will consider the import- and export laws of the related countries.
b)		World wide delivery by value transport:
		1. You forward the form ‘Request for Physical Delivery’ per fax or email. 2. We organize a date and time with you. Logistic costs are independent of the value and weight of the transport. We will offer you a custom made solution.

Please note, that by physical delivery out of the duty warehouse, an additional charge of Eur 160 will be incurred.

The fee calculation is based on the value of the holdings at the average daily course during the respective time period. Billing will be performed twice a year, end of June and end of December.
